Lo Paris Bowl, Barley
MAKER: Rosenwald & McRae
Based on the idea of stacking circles in a more organic arrangement and a random edged rim to create architectural drama like that of many of the famous landmarks in the city it is named after. This low bowl is wonderful for accenting a kitchen or dining room table and perfect to hold fresh fruits and vegetables.
Details: This bowl is hand thrown with low-fire earthenware. After curing for several days, its form is smoothed and prepped for the carving process. Each perforation is tooled, carved, and cleaned several times in order to create a finished surface. After a bisque firing, it is glazed three or four times and fired a final time. All bowls are food and dishwasher safe. 10.75" W x 2.75" H
